Abstract

The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology had been offering a dedicated climate change course since 2009 although students were uncertain as to how well this would work due to the complexity as well as vastness of climate problems. In 2015 we took the opportunity to revise this course. Because of Big History’s interdisciplinary nature, we have been incorporating it as the pedagogical framework to help deliver macroscopic sustainability issues up to the present.
